It's Championship Week at LRHS! 

 This week has been busy and exciting.  Started the week off with the Junior Varsity District V Championship.  Congrats to our JV teams for taking 6th place out of 20 teams AND for their 2nd place Howard County finish.

Congrats to our Varsity team for their 4th place finish at the Howard County Varsity Championship.  This placement, secures a spot to compete at the South Regional Championship on Wednesday, November 9th.  Competition begins at 6:00pm.  This event is being hosted at LRHS, so Parent Volunteers are needed.  Please contact Coach Page with your availability.

WAY TO GO LRHS JV!

The Junior Varsity cheerleaders kicked off their Fall cheer season with a BANG!  They competed on Saturday, Oct 15th at the Francis Scott Key HS Invitational and gave outstanding performances in the following:  3rd place in the Stunt Meet-n-Greet, 2nd place in the Pyramid Meet-n-Greet and 1st PLACE in the Junior Varsity Division!

Both the JV and Varsity teams set their sights on the Dyanasty  Invitational on Oct 29th at Chesapeake HS. Come out and show your support for the Lightning Cheerleaders!
