Welcome to the LPYAA Website

Mission Statement:

  1) The Lake Placid Youth Athletic Association exists to introduce, instruct and

    promote sustained participation in sports to the youth in Lake Placid and

    surrounding communities. They include (to date) soccer, hockey, basketball,

    volleyball, baseball & softball.

 

Statements of Purpose:

  1) To provide a safe and healthy environment for the youth in our community

      to participate in a variety of sports.

  2) To provide quality coaching which gives all participants the opportunity to

      learn and play.

  3) To promote, to the best of our ability, positive experiences for all children

       participating in our programs by supporting a "kids first, winning second"

      philosophy of competition.

The next LPYAA meeting will be Thurs. April 21st ( board elections)  at the Olympic Training Center on Old Military Road starting at 8 pm sharp.

Anyone who has business to bring before the membership must submit the nature of the business to the secretary for inclusion on the meeting agenda. This can be done by emailing Kim Clark. The deadline for agenda items is the second Thursday of each month. If business comes up that does not make the deadline it is either automatically put on the agenda for the following meeting or must be approved for discussion by 3/4 of the members present at the current meeting.

Good Afternoon,

The Lake Placid Youth Athletic Association is proud to announce the launch of their new website  www.lpyaa.net

 Information regarding upcoming seasons, registration & payment can all be done through the new website. Families create a user/profile and enter their children's information once. You can then register and pay online for subsequent seasons. Your profile will stay and registration/payment the following season will simply be a couple of clicks. Please feel free to provide feedback so se can make make improvements.

LPYAA 2016 registration for T-ball, Baseball, and Softball

The LPYAA will be holding registration for the 2016 season of T-ball, Baseball, and Softball on March 29th and 31st and also April 19th and 21st.

Registration will be held at the Lake Placid Fish and Game clubhouse, next to the LPYAA baseball fields, from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Registration Fees for 2016 are:

$20.00 per player for T-ball and Rookie League

$30.00 per player for Minor League and Major League

$40.00 per player for Babe Ruth and

$30.00 per player, grades 3-8, for Softball.

Applications will be available at the Beach House or you can click on the handout link on the LPYAA website http://www.eteamz.com/LPYAA/ to download your application.

The LPYAA  International Tournament has a new website for information, application, etc.

The new International website is   www.leaguelineup.com/lpinternational
