Head Coach Bobby Moore
|
|
Bobby Moore started his swimming career at Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas. He is 36 years old and has been with the Dogfish for 5 years, starting as an assistant coach in 2004. Bobby has two children Nacole and Dustin. Bobby also volunteers his time with the La Porte High School Swim Team. He has taken our team to the TAAF regional in Rosenberg, Texas and TAAF finals in Waco and Roundrock, Texas. He swam in the finals 2005 at TAAF taking 2- 4th places and 1- 5th place. He has also taken the select few that qualified in TAAF to Regionals in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Assistant Coach Kasey Mauk:

Kasey Mauk is a graduate of Deer Park High in 2005. She lettered 14 times through out her high school career. Thirteen time were in swimming alone and once in academics. She started swimming at the age of 6 competitively and raced all over the state of Texas including TAAF state meets. She began coaching with the DP Seals for 2 summers along with numerous private lessons and also coached at the TAAF meet one summer. Kasey is currently a Junior at San Jacinto and will be graduating next spring as a registered Respiratory Therapist. She also enjoys scuba diving, surfing, swimming (for fun), playing the drums, piano and singing.

Assistant Coach Sarah Gadberry:

is 18 years old and currently a senior at La Porte High School. Sarah has been swimming competitively for the La Porte Dogfish for the past 13 years. She has also competed as a member of the La Porte High school swim team and is a four year letterman. Besides her background in swim, she also has worked as a lifeguard and a childrens caretaker at Deer Park United Methodist Church. Her skills with first aid and CPR and the ability to teach and enjoy working with her fellow swimmers will be a great asset to our team.

Assistant Coach Jenna Taylor:

Taylor is a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School in 2006. She has been swimming since the age of 12 and is currently competing at the college level. She has been teaching swim lessons and has been a life guard for three years. She has also been coaching for the past two years for the South Belt swim team. Jennas goal is to continue to coach and gain experience as a future career as a high school teacher and swim coach. She has participated in the United States Scholar Athlete games and the World Scholar Athlete games and she was District 22 AAAAA Champ in Freestyle swim in 2004.
