Sponsors

As a not for profit organization, the Blackhawks rely heavily on outside contributions for 
defraying team operating expenses (tournament fees, equipment needs, etc.) The Activities/Sponsor 
Coordinator is responsible for chairing sponsorship drives and acting as a focal point for 
identifying potential leads. However, it is each team family's responsibility to assist the 
Activities/Sponsorship Coordinator in locating, approaching, and securing sponsors

Sponsorship Banner. 

Coordination and maintenance of the sponsorship banner is the responsibility of the Equipment 
Coordinator.         

Names of active sponsors that donate a minimum of  $300 (cash and/or materials) per year to 
the team are displayed on the team's sponsorship banner. Names of inactive sponsors shall 
remain on the banner, subject to space availability for qualified (sponsors that meet the 
$300 criteria) active sponsors and the decision of the coaches. No sponsor shall be placed 
on or removed from the banner without prior approval of the coaches. Coaches retain exclusive 
rights for making all final decisions pertaining to the banner including the type, style, and 
content of sponsorship advertising.
