Lady Lions' & Digital Harbor's Logan picks Pitt
Pitt gets commit from Baltimore forward
Asia Logan, a 6-foot forward from Baltimore, Md., has committed to Pittsburgh, according to her club coach, Alexis Washington of Lady Lions Basketball. Logan also considered Villanova, Virginia Tech and Xavier, Washington said in an email message.
Logan averaged 19 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks while leading Digital Harbor High School to a school-record 24-3 mark and the Maryland Class 1A state title, its first. In the state championship game, she had 21 points, 13 rebounds and made 15 of 16 free throws during Digital Harbor's 50-41 win over Surrattsville.
