Welcome to the LLL Team Web Site

Welcome to the LLL Society Website. We are a 13-14 yearold in house team from the Roy Gayle Complex. We play competitive baseball as well as enter several tournaments throughout the summer. We are coming off one of the best seasons LLL has had in a few years. In the summer of 2004, we achieved a 21-6 record, took first place in the Midseason tournament, and finished 3rd overall in leauge playoffs. In the summer of 2005, we compiled a 16-5 league record, with a 22-10 overall. We took 4th place in the Memorial Weekend Tourney, tied with 44 homeruns in the bat-a-thon, accomplished 1st place honors in the American Division, and won 3rd Place overall(out of 13 teams) in our in-house championship. In the summer of 2006, we compiled a 18-5 overall record, took 1st place honors in the American Division for the second straight year over Metro, and was one of the top 4 teams left in the Playoffs out of 15 teams. In the summer of 2007 we compiled a 23-10 record, took 2nd place in the American Divsion, and was one of the top 4 teams left in the playoffs out of 16 teams. We also took 4th place trophies in the Annual Memorial Weekend Tournament. The summer of 2008 was a challenging year. It was a rebuilding year in which we went a combined 7-14 on the year. However, we did take 4th place trophy honors in the Memorial Weekend tourney. In the summer of 2009 we rebounded strong and posted a 15-4 overall record. We had the second best regular season record out of all of the Pony teams out at our park. We took 1st place trophy honors for winning our American Division. In the summer 2010 we had solid season going .500 overall. We took 4th place trophy honors in the Memorial Weekend tournament and advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs before our season came to an end. The summer of 2011 we had another solid season going just over .500 overall on the season. We had alot individual records throughout the league, but the little things got in the way of Team success. We have several great players returning with more maturity and several new additions should make for a great 2012 season!

The SUMMER of 2012 should be productive and more successful with this group of dedicated young men to the game, and are looking to win it all this year.

In case of a Rain Out, You need to call the Roy Gayle and listen for the voice recording. The number is 815-962-4417. Please call this number first before calling the coaches. It is always best to report to the park as scheduled, because we will play in adverse weather conditions to get a game in.

Young @ Heart Parade ! Come Walk with Coach and throw candy

Greetings,

I have organized a spot in the Young @ Heart Parade for the Republican candidate I work for. He is running for State Senator. I wanted to extend the invitation to all of the players and they're families to walk with us. You do not have to wear Political tshirts or stickers, but come as you are, and if you are a player wear your Jersey and Hat!

We will meet up Saturday May 26th at 8:15am in the parking lot of Woodward Governor. The Parade will start at 9am.  The Parade route is: North on 2nd street from Woodward Governor at Boylston street, and ending at Theodore street.

If you have any questions or cannot attend, please let me know. I understand its a holiday weekend and families might have out of town plans. Enjoy the weekend!

Mouth Guards mandatory this Season at Roy Gayle...Click here!

If you click on the link above it will take you to website where you can order mouth guards. I would prefer everyone purchase the Yellow/Maize NIKE max intake mouth guard that comes with a case.  The case is handy and will keep it clean!

The league passed a rule in the offseason that all players playing defense or offensive must have a mouth guard in at all times. If you do not have a mouth guard, you will not be permitted to play. Not all mouth guards are good for baseball. The cheap mouth guards will make it hard for players to talk and communicate on the field. The more expensive ones, are made for talking (example: Quarterbacks) and allow for good airflow for you boy to breath.

Any questions call Coach Jason.

I have been asked by a parent to do a group order on these mouth guards. We need atleast 10 in order to qualify. If we order 13 it would come out to be $17.50 each, and this includes shipping. If I can get a check by Sunday, we can make a group order and everyone saves money!

Also Soxs are in... If you have not paid for soxs please do so at your earliest convience.
