Saturday June 20, at 1:00 at the Crystal River LL Pavilion (near the tennis courts).

All volunteer umpires in District 15 and their families (spouse and children) are invited to the picnic.  All umpires must respond via e-mail with their name, the name of the league they umpire at, and the number of family members attending.  Respond by name before June 9th.  I will not accept "West Hernando has 10 attending" instead you must list the umpires and number of family members attending with each umpire.  This event is a huge expense to the District and we need to supply the caterer with an accurate count.

We will review all the Tournament Rules and enjoy a barbecue lunch.

We will also draw winners for FREE raffle. Prizes include two Deluxe Umpire Masks, two West Vest Chest Protectors and several smaller prizes.   Winners will choose only one prize in the order they are drawn.  No one may win twice.

Please also mark your calendar for this year's International Tournament beginning with the District All Star Games in Crystal River with games from June 26 through July 3 and July 6 through July 15. 

We have also been invited to send umpires to several sectional and State Tournaments.  I will need to know which umpires are interested in doing these upper level games.  The District UIC will evaluate the umpires, for these upper level assignments, during the District games.  If you would like to be considered please notify me via e-mail.
