East Region Home to United States Champion; First Time in 17 Years

Congratulations to Red Land Little League from Lewisberry, Pennsylvania for winning the Little League Baseball United States Championship!

It's been a whopping 17 years since a team has rolled through Bristol and gone on to win the entire Little League Baseball World Series. Toms River Little League won it all in 1998, beating Japan 12-9. On that team was Todd Frazier, now a third basemen for the Cincinnati Reds in Major League Baseball.

Not only has Red Land earned the United States championship banner, but the team now holds the record attendance for a single-game at the Little League World Series. That record was set at 45,716 Saturday afternoon.

Keystone Little League from Clinton County, Pennsylvania previously set the old official single-game record in 2011 at 41,848.

Red Land Little League will play Tokyo Kitasuna Little League from Japan for the title of best team in the world tomorrow on national television. The game can be seen on ABC at 3 p.m.
