The Hornets Program is a developmental program which will feed into the Yellow Jacket Travel Teams. The Hornets will not travel, but are designed to develop skills and league play. The program is designed to introduce Rising 2nd-5th graders to the exciting world of women's lacrosse. Coaches will be comprised of top level college players from the Island who will be positive role models as well as excellent clinicians. They will play in the Long Island Elite lacrosse Tournament in August.

Updated Nassau County Hornets: Practice Scheduled for 7/21 has been cancelled due to weather!! Rescheduled for tuesday 7/28 @ Garden City 4-8pm

  • 6 2-hour developmental skill sessions  consisting of 1 hour skill work & 1 hour game play
  • Quality Coaching Staff
  • Uniform is a pinney
  • 6 Wednesdays  June 17 & 24th , July 1, 8 , 15,  22 (Raindate: July 29)
  • 2 Location Garden City & Brentwood 
  • Entrance Fee and tournament play at the Long Island Elite Showcase on August 1,  2009
  • Feeder Program to the Long Island Yellow Jackets
  • Open to the first 100 applicants only - no tryouts!
  • Come and sharpen your skills or learn new ones!
