Long Island Cheerleading Coaches Association: ACT/Scholar/All Star
ALL-STAR
Do you have that one certain special cheerleader that is devoted, spirited, athletic and school minded? Is she what you would consider an All-Star Cheerleader? Well, LICCA is continuing its tradition of recognizig these outstanding athletes on a Long Island All-Star Team.
Your nominee must be a Junior or Senior athlete on the Varsity Level.
You, as a coach, must be a member of LICCA in order to nominate an athlete for this recognition. You do not have to be a competing team in order to nominate an All-Star. College Teams are also welcome to nominate an All-Star.
Scholarship
Kindly submit an application form and video for a Senior you think is deserving of the Student Athlete Scholarship, also to be awarded at Finals. The scholarship is not awarded on the basis of need. All names are omitted and the committee determines its selection on the overall contribution of the athlete to the school, the community, and to the sport of cheerleading. You do not have to be a competing team to nominate a Scholarship athlete.
You may nominate a Senior for both the All-Star and the Scholarship, however, your nominee for the Scholarship must be a Senior.
All-Star and Scholarship winners are honored at the LICCA Finals with medals, certificates and/or funds towards the college they will attend. The committee will mail nomination forms in December.
