Varsity loses to Amador, 15-2
The Boys' Varsity Lacrosse team lost to the Amador Valley Dons by a score of 15 - 2 Friday night.
The Cowboys jumped ahead in this contest with a goal by Marc Acosta in the first quarter and held a 1 goal led until the 5 minute mark. Amador scored 5 goals as they took a 5 - 1 led after the first quarter. The fast moving Dons then scored 7 more. At the half, the score was 12 - 1. In the second half Amador outscored the Cowboys 3 -1. Livermore's second goal was scored by Nathan Loberg assisted by Vince VanBinsbergen. While the score was lopsided the Cowboys COWBOYED up in the second half and played a great game against many of the Dons starters. Gavin Herr had 23 saves in the loss.
