Parents and Players-

CONGRATS on a hard week of tryouts.  I am so glad you came out and that you will be part of this awesome Lafayette tradition.  At this time we did not have enough players to make a JV team but we are planning on having a second tryout on Thurs. August 6th behind Clays Mill Elementary School during the scheduled practice time.  Hopefully with word of mouth and a little campaigning on our parts we can get enough players out to get a JV team, an essential component for our program to build.  So because we want to continue building our program and improving our future players we have established a practice squad who will practice with the varsity team and participate in all activities.  All players do have the potential to move up from practice squad to swing and from swing to full varsity player.   I am looking forward to working with all of you and a wonderful season. It's our time in 2009!
