Congratulations to Mike Lumley, staff and Players for an outstanding season with the Midget Badgers winning the Provincial Championships and finishing fourth at the National Championships for the second time in the last three years.

Congratulations to the Juvenile Badgers for winning the Intercounty Playoff Championship and topping off the season with the silver medal at the OBA Championships. They lost in the final to a strong Windsor team that lost only twice all year.
The EBBA Juveniles handed Windsor one of those losses and finished a strong third at the OBA Championships, giving London two of the top three Juvenile Teams in the Province.

Congratulations to Ron Johnston and his Southwest Junior Team for bringing home a Junior OBA Championship.


1998

Graeme Nichol coaches a strong London Juvenile Team to an unprecendented second straight GOLD BAT CHAMPIONSHIP. Congratulations Graeme, coaches and players.

The Midget Badgers played a schedule in the OBA Youth Elite League, against players a year older and won the pennant. They finished second in the playoffs and then topped off the season with the AAA Midget OBA Championship. Congratulations to Mike Lumley, staff and players.

In total, London and District had six OBA Champions in 1998, with EBBA winning two AA Championships. Congratulations to all coaches and players.

Strathroy kept the OBA Senior B Championship within the LDBA, defending the title won by Lakeside in 1997.
