*****LCC Alumni Game & Hall of Fame Ceremnony Dec. 23rd @ 1pm*****   All alumni are invited to play in the LCC alumni game and honor 2 new inductees into the LCC Lacrosse Hall of Fame.  Join us Dec. 23rd from 1-3pm for the game, ceremony, and lunch.  All participants are asked to bring a $20 check payable to LCC Lax Boosters - Boys Lacrosse (larger donations also accepted).

*****LCC Shootout Tournament Announced*****  The East Meets West Foundation and La Costa Canyon Boys Lacrosse Announce the 1st Annual LCC Shootout Tournament to be held Friday & Saturday April 9th & 10th @ the Del Mar Polo Grounds in Del Mar - San Diego.  Go to "Handouts" for more info!

*****Fall Ball opportunities*****  Not Mandatory.  If you are playing a Fall or Winter school sport, put all your attention into that sport.  College lacrosse coaches love multiple sport athletes.

  • Shredderz will field 3 H.S. level teams in the Winter - Elite, Gold, and Silver.  Middle of November thru the end of January.
  • Preseason Voluntary Workouts beginning of January thru middle of February.  More info at preseason meeting.

*****Inside Lacrosse Names SoCal in Top 10 Lacrosse "Towns"*****   Inside Lacrosse agrees that Southern CA is quickly gaining a reputation as a Lacrosse Hotbed.  LCC is listed as a successful h.s. with D1 talent every year.

*****TEAM G.P.A. # 1 in the STATE!*****  As published from CIF and the San Diego Union Tribune.   Boys lacrosse: La Costa Canyon, 3.49.  The State CIF office has announced that our Varsity Boys' Lacrosse team has been recognized as State Academic Champions!. This means that those student-athletes maintained the state's highest collective team grade-point average (on an unweighted 4.0 scale) during the 2008-09 school year.

*****Lacrosse Canyon*****  LCC has won the CIF San Diego Championship 3 times, played in the past 7 CIF San Diego championship games, and have won the North County Conference 5 consecutive times.  The North County Conference has produced 7 of the 8 CIF Champions to date since 2002 and offers the toughest league in San Diego with the likes of Torrey Pines, Poway, and Rancho Bernardo.  Their are 9 teams total in the league, and every team plays each other 1 time.  North County Conference: LCC, Torrey Pines, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Westview, Carlsbad, Mount Carmel, Fallbrook, and San Marcos.  CIF has not approved a CA regional or state championship, but most of the better teams in the state play each other year in and year out.
