Lowell-Caledonia High School Hockey: Sponsors and Fundraising
2009/2010 Fund-raising Activities

Here are the plan details for the coffee fundraiser:
1) Need order forms and money (or checks) back Monday night (Nov 2). (extended one week because of confusion)
a. Rick Watson will be there before both practices
2) Rick will place our master order with the coffee company on Tuesday, Nov 3.
3) Coffee will arrive on a consolidated shipment around Nov 16.
4) We will break-out orders for individuals and bring product to practice for distribution.
I personally love these products… they are convenient and 100x more healthy than regular coffee products.
We have great pricing/profit on this product line and if our order is large enough shipping will be free.

A car wash fund-raiser was held at Showboat Automotive in Lowell on August 15, 2009, from noon to 4:00 PM. Thanks to all the volunteers (players and parents) that helped at this event. A total of $146 was made.

We had a great weekend at the Lowell Riverwalk on July 10 and 11, 2009. The sunshine was out and people were drinking lots of water. We netted $773 and a few more bucks for cans that were collected.   There was very good participation from the players and parents to help the event go smoothly. Thanks to Shad Propst for organizing and running the event.

2008/2009 Fund Raising Activities (updated 11/6/08)

The can drive planned for Saturday, December 13 has been postponed.

The L/C Hockey teams did a soup and sub fundraiser, a great way to reduce your hockey bill! We will offer a variety of subs and soups. Subs are sold for $3.00 and Soups are sold for $3.50. Trisha Propst will be getting out the order forms the second weekend in November. Orders will need to be turned in by November 18th and date of delivery is Dec. 2nd at Patterson. Frandale subs are made fresh the day of delivery.

Jon Bieri will be our Fund Raising Director for the 2008/2009 season. Please contact Jon with your ideas.

We started the 2008/2009 season by working at the Lowell Riverwalk on July 11 and 12 this year selling water again. A total of 41 cases of water were sold and we netted $509 as part of this fundraising effort.

We have started taking ads for the annual yearbook as well. The sponsor form can be found on the "Other Information" page.


Yearbook/Sponsorship Update (updated 7/30/08)

We are pleased to begin our eleventh straight season of the Lowell-Caledonia Hockey Program. Thanks to past sponsors, our program has grown from a small group of rookie players to competitive Varsity Team and a full roster Junior Varsity club team. Both teams are self-funded through players fees, fundraising events, and sponsorships by individuals and businesses alike.

This year we are offering both Banner Sponsorship opportunities and advertisement in our 8.5” x 11” multi-page yearbook that will be handed out at all home games. Players securing the sponsorship will receive the following credits. Banner player credits of $650, and year book sponsorships credits are 80% of the selected page advertisement.

·$1,000 --- Your banner to be placed at Patterson Ice Center or Kentwood Ice Arena, plus you receive a full page yearbook advertisement.

2007/2008 Fundraising Activities (updated 1/10/08)

A pop can drive was held on Saturday, January 5, 2008. A total of $866.30 was raised for the team. Thanks to all who helped.

The 2007/2008 yearbooks are available. They should be available at all home games.

D&W and Family Fare offer us a fund raising activity each year where just by buying groceries we can earn money for our program. When you shop on the following days and you provide our code (94762) we receive 3% of the total amount.

The Lowell Riverwalk Festival was our first fundraiser of the 2007/2008 season. We sold water throughout the festival weekend for the Chamber of Commerce and we raised $444.
