LAHS Softball: Welcome to the LAHS Softball Booster Club

Welcome to the Los Alamitos High School Softball Program.  The Softball Booster Club is a volunteer organization with the sole purpose of "boosting" the program for the student athletes who represent themselves and LAHS on the field.  Volunteer time and financial support are the two essential ingredients that allow our teams to play on outstanding fields, have necessary equipment, uniforms, and learn from knowledgeable coaches to enjoy their high school athletic experience.

The Softball Booster Club consists of an Executive Board and general membership of active and supporting members.  Membership is open to all parents and guardians of players participating in the LAHS Softball Program. Supporting members are other individuals, including extended family members, community members, LAHS personnel, and alumni who are dedicated to supporting the LAHS Softball Program.

The Booster Club Executive Board strongly encourages the parents of each player to become actively involved and support activities for the Booster Club.  The Board wants to communicate as often as possible with parents and to support our players and coaches in the best way possible.  All parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend the booster club meetings and fundraiser events. It takes a team of dedicated parents to support a successful high school sports program.

According to Los Alamitos High School, Booster clubs provide necessary and valuable services to many clubs, organizations, and athletic teams.  The goal of the booster clubs is to support the programs both emotionally and financially.  The role of the Booster Club is to be supportive of the program rather than to influence the direction or content of the program.
