Softball Camp July 20-24, 2009

Camp Information: LAHS Head Coach Rob Weil and his staff are hosting a softball camp for incoming freshman. Camp will include instructions on the fundamentals of fielding, throwing, hitting, pitching, catching and base running.  

Camp times- 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Location- LAHS Softball Field

LAHS Softball Booster Mission Statement:

The Softball Booster Club is a volunteer organization with the sole purpose of "boosting" the program for the student athletes who represent themselves and LAHS on the field. Volunteer time and financial support are the two essential ingredients that allow our teams to play on outstanding fields, have necessary equipment and uniforms, learn from knowledgeable coaches, and enjoy their high school athletic experience.

The coaching philosophy of the LAHS Softball program is based on discipline and respect. The coaches will provide a positive environment for all players, which will be consistent with their rules and will prepare all players for high school competition. Coaching decisions are made based upon what is best for the team and not just the individual player. The coaching staff is available to discuss all aspects of the game; questions and concerns can be discussed with the coaches before or after practice. However, please respect the fact that playing time is NOT up for discussion.

All are welcomed and encouraged to attend the booster club meetings and fundraiser events. It takes a team of dedicated parents to support a successful high school sports program. Please check the website often, as important information regarding practices, games, and events will be updated frequently.
