Lafayette Little League will be hosting the PeeWee(Machine Pitch) and Minor 10 District Tournaments at Lafayette Little League beginning July 8th.

Little League allows the tournament host to charge for parking. In lieu of that however, Lafayette Little League would ask for every fan attending the district tournaments at Lafayette Little League to bring and donate one canned good for each day of the tournament attended.

There will be drop off spots at the entrances to the park for the canned goods that are donated. All canned goods collected will be transferred to our neighbor, Holy Cross Catholic Church.

The TOC Brackets are now posted in the "2009 Post Season Brackets" section in the menu on the left.

All-Star Eligibility

Beginning with the 2006 season, the Lafayette Little League Board of Directors, in the interest of fairness to the players who have played in and supported the Lafayette Little League organization over the years and as a means of preserving the integrity of the league, adopted a rule regarding All Star selection and eligibility .

During its meeting in September 2007, the Board of Directors reaffirmed its support of the rule.

During its meeting in August 2008, the Board of Directors reaffirmed its support of the rule and addressed concerns raised during the preceding 2 years.

The rule provides as follows:

Any player who has not played in both of the two preceding spring seasons at Lafayette Little League shall not be eligible to play on any Major League level All-Star team except for good cause shown. Good cause shall include, but not be limited to, a player who did not play in the preceding two years because he or she was not living within the Lafayette Little League geographical boundaries and, therefore, was not eligible to play for Lafayette Little League.
