St. John Parish annually hosts a fish fry on the Fridays of the Lenten Season.  These events provide an opportunity for our community to come together for great food, friends, and fudn raising.  Each weekly event is hosted by a different Parish group.  Proceeds from the collective season are shared among the participating groups.

In 2009, the St. John Knights assumed overall leadership for the Lenten Fish Fry series.  Dave Toennis, our Fish Fry Chairman, provided overall coordination and organization.  Many Knights, Ladies, and family members helped throughout the series of events.

2009 was a year of record revenue!  Thank you West Chester and St. John Parish!  Each week of this season represented a signficant increase in revenue over past years.  Is difficult to pinpoint the exact cause for the increase in revenue.  However, we would like to acknowledge that some of the credit is due to superb marketing by our Council Marketing Committee in addition to some new menu selections and great support from the Parish.

New Menu items for 2009 included a Crab Cake dinner and a Sampler Dinner.  Both were very successful.
