We meet on the second Monday of every month in the St. John Pavilion. Officers meet at 7:00p. All members meet at 7:30pm.

St. John Parish annually hosts a fish fry on the Fridays of the Lenten Season.  These events provide an opportunity for our community to come together for great food, friends, and fund raising.  Each weekly event is hosted by a different Parish group.  Proceeds from the collective season are shared among the participating groups.

The St. John Knights are pleased to present two $500.00 scholarships, in 2012. These scholarships are intended to help with expenses for a full-time student attending a post-high school institution of higher learning in the summer or fall of 2012.

Applicants will:

• be a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in West Chester Township, Ohio
• be accepted and enrolled in a two, or four year degree program at a post-high school institution of higher learning (college, university, trade school, etc.)
• be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• complete and return the application on or before 12pm, Friday, March 23, 2012

The scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors, high school graduates beginning a degree program, students already enrolled in such an institution, veterans beginning/returning to a degree program, or other adults training for a new career.

Applicants authorize the St. John Knights of Columbus Council 13608 to verify any information provided on the application. The scholarship committee will make its selection for the scholarships by April 10th, 2012. Winners will then be notified and scholarships will be awarded to winning recipients at the Council’s Awards and Appreciation Dinner on April 28th, 2012.

Completed applications can be dropped off in the Parish office or mailed to:  St. John K of C Scholarship,7188 Willowood Drive Cincinnati, OH 45241

If mailed, must be postmarked no later than March 22, 2012.

Applications will be evaluated based on three criteria:

• Short essay response
• Contributions to Parish and Community activities
• Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) from most current program: high school or current degree program

Privacy Statement: The St. John Knights of Columbus Council 13608 will use the information provided solely for the purpose of evaluating submitted applications. The St. John Knights of Columbus Council 13608 reserve the right to share limited information about the selected winners with the Council membership and St. John the Evangelist Parish. After winners are selected all submitted applications will be destroyed
