Knights Baseball League: Welcome

Knights Baseball League is combined effort of La Mesa National, Rolando and Chollas Lake Little Leagues. We provide a positive environment for baseball players between the ages of 13-16 who live in the Fletcher Hills, La Mesa, Rolando and Chollas Lake communities. The purpose of Knights Baseball is to give kids in our communities the attention, baseball education, and best opportunity to play baseball at the high school level. By combining these four communities we are expanding the economic and social circles to provide a higher success rate for our youth athletes. We welcome all who have decided to join us this year.

FREE HITTING CLINIC TO ALL KNIGHTS FALL BALL PLAYERS!

DATE CHANGE: Saturday October 24th, 8AM-Noon

Hitting Mini-Camp, put on by Foothiller Baseball Professional level instruction focusing on Hitting. Former collegiate/pro players and coaches Beau and Benny Craig and their staff, offer an in depth approach to the fundamentals of hitting: Good approach at the plate. Proper warm-up, Hitter's timing, Lower half development, Proper approach based on pitch count, Bunting and the mental preparation of being a great hitter.

This will be a great warm-up and foundation to build on for players looking at moving onto High School ball within the next couple of years. Space is limited to 50 players, so please RSVP Today! Email psg123@pacbell.net or griffithsfam1@mac.com 

Cost: FREE - Registered Knights Fall Ball Players

$25 for any previous or upcoming Knights Players not playing fall ball.

Paying players will receive a $25 discount on Spring registration

Fall Ball is under way, with our very first successfuly mini-clinic and team assignment day. Thank you to all who participated. Teams were assigned and we are encouraged with the amount of talent we saw from our players participating in fall ball. It looks like this will be a very good program this fall to allow those boys coming into the Juniors division to get used to the big field and our returning players to work on further developing their skills.

Congratulations to the Knights Diablos, as they take the 2009 District Tournament of Champions Flag with an impressive 12-7 win over a very good Mid-City team. This is the Knights League's first ever championship, and shows our boys are strong and ready to play! In only our second year, the Knights have made it to the Championship game both years.
