Are you ready to rumble???? You better be because it's Superbowl time for all you Knightdale Knights. Let's bring another Superbowl trophy to the house!!!
All three teams played hard and made it through the first round of playoffs. The second round was hard fought by all three teams but the Mighty's are the only teams that pulled out a win. It was close for the Mini's and the Pee Wee's lost by one point. We are so proud of all our Knightdale Teams. This was a great season but it's not over yet. So everyone come out and pull for the Mighty Mights next Sunday. Let's make some noise and bring one more superbowl trophy back to Knightdale. GO KNIGHTS!!!!!
Our Knightdale Mini Might Cheerleaders won 1st place in the EWFL Cheer competition on Saturday November 14th. Our Pee Wee's might have placed 3rd in points, but they definitely brought the house down with their dance. We are so proud of our girls! All that hard work showed!! Way to Go Ms. Alyssa Strayhorn. Your girls were awesome!!

As you all know, Coach Fletcher, one of our Might Mite coaches lost his mother recently and asked that we place his thank you card on the website. See below:

Banquet - End of Season trophy & dinner will be held on December 12th. More info to follow at a later date.
Christmas Parade - Cheerleaders & Football players can participate in the Knightdale Christmas Parade on December 5th. More info to follow at a later date.

The Knightdale Mighty Mites are the 2008 Super Bowl Champions!! The Cheerleaders finished their season with 2nd place in the EWFL cheer competition. WAY TO GO KNIGHTS!! The Knights had an awesome season with all three teams finishing their season in 1st place. Thanks to all the players, cheerleaders and fans for making 2008 such a great season!!

Weight Limits: (Teams & Coaches)
Flag Football-No weight limit-Age 5 & 6 (Coach Chris Milam - 919-259-4315)
Mini mites-100 lbs.-Ages 7 & 8 (Coach Patrick Alexander - 919-218-7560)
Mighty Mites-120 lbs.-Ages 9 & 10 (Coach Chris Murray - 919-723-6098)
Peewees-145 lbs.-Ages 11 & 12 (Coach Ed McDoe, Jr. - 919-520-2024)
A child age 6 has the option to play Flag Football or Mini Mite Football. The cost for Flag Football is $40.00.
* Gym shorts and jersey are required to weigh in. No more boxers or underwear.
* Team moms on the coaches list will be premitted into games for free.
* Apparel will be available for you to purchase at practices from 6:30 - 8:00.
All games are held on Saturdays with the Mini Mite 5th quarter beginning at 4:00 p.m. (unless scheduled otherwise)
