Commuter Camper $300

Each participant must provide a copy of a medical insurance card, doctor's physical, and a signed liability waiver to have on file in order to participate.
KU Softball Camp Mission
To provide each athlete with the opportunity to improve in each aspect of the game. The camps will focus on specific fundamentals necessary to improve the play of each camper. Sessions will highlight techniques, drills, game situations with team strategies, conditioning and weight training and the mental aspects of the game to help reach individual peak performance.
Kansas Softball Overnight Camp
The Kansas Softball Overnight Camp is designed for those softball players who are looking to play at the next level and enhance their overall knowledge of the game. Topics covered will include offense, defense, pitching and catching. Players will also have the opportunity to work with Head Coach Tracy Bunge and Asst. Coaches Jen Sewell and Christi Musser. Current KU players will also be in attendance. Players will participate in actual game scrimmages. This clinic is designed for those players between the ages of 11 - 18.
Camp Registration
Registration deadline for this camp is no later than June 20, 2008. All registrations received after June 20 will have a $20.00 late fee. We strongly urge campers to register as soon as possible to guarantee a spot. Registration must be mailed with full payment or a deposit of $100.00 along with a copy of the campers insurance card a waiver that can be printed off the KU Softball website and a copy of a doctors physical. The balance of the fee must be paid no later than June 20, 2008. Checks can be made payable to KU Softball Camps and Clinics
Rules and Regulations
Campers must abide by the Rules and Regulations of the KU Softball Camp. Campers are required to attend all sessions and activities and are not allowed to be off campus unless with an organized and supervised camp group. Early departures must furnish written parental notice to the Camp Director prior to the start of camp. Any serious violations, damage to KU camp property, or other behavior deemed detrimental to the group will result in immediate dismissal. There will be no refund of fees upon expulsion or upon voluntary withdrawal from the camp.
Refunds
Campers who must leave during the camp due to illness or injury will receive a pro-rated refund based on the number of days of instruction, insurance and room and board that were required. No refunds will be given to campers who voluntarily leave camp or who are sent home for disciplinary reasons.
What to Bring
Campers should bring blankets, sheets, a pillow, towels, and toiletries. All necessary softball equipment must be provided by the camper which includes: cleats, glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, all catchers gear, (if applicable), and knee pads. Tennis shoes will be necessary for all activities that will be done in-doors and sweats are suggested for weather issues.
Housing and Food
All resident campers will be housed at Naismith Hall or Oliver Hall. Please check your camp confirmation as to which hall you will be staying. Directions are listed below to the dormitories. All campers will be fed at Naismith Hall.

The University of Kansas in Lawrence is located off of interstate 70. Take the west Lawrence exit. To get to campus, follow Iowa street to 19th street and make a left. Follow 19th Street to Naismith Drive and make a left. Naismith Hall is located on the Northeast corner and Oliver Hall is located on the Northwest corner.
