Kirkwood Youth Sports: Welcome
CONGRADULATIONS TO THE SUPER A'S OUR 2011 LITTLE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS WHO COMPLETED A 13-2 RECORD WHILE WINNING BOTH THE REGULAR SEASION AND CHAMPIONSHIP
OPENING DAY UPDATE
Opening day was, what i would say a huge success. The weather was warm and it was nice to see the parade back again. The highlight of the day had to be all the young athletes on the fields. For me the best part of the day was watching an entire coach pitch team doing the cha cha slide on the field between innings, after all, that is what the day was for,
To Have Fun.
.
Special Note
Kirkwood seldom gets the recognition it deserves. I hope you will join me in thanking the Town officials, youth advisory board, sport coordinators, coaches and parents for their dedication to our young athletes. These people not only offer our children a great start in sports but a better start in life, that they will carry with them forever.
WE THANK YOU! .Kirkwood Booster Club
The Kirkwood Booster Club has recruted a couple new members and is happy to say we are on our way up. We are still looking for more members and this will be a never ending jouney for us. I would like to thank evryone for their help in the opening day celebration. We went through over 600 hot dogs and I couldn't tell you how many bottles of soda. We have sold 4 outfield signs as of 5-7-11 and are looking forward to seeing them on the field soon. The raffle tickets are selling well and I am anxous to see what team will be going to the Binghamton Mets game.
