Titans Fees 2009
Titans Fees 2009: The Titans make a specific effort to keep costs down each season despite rising costs assigned to us. Fees cover associated costs that the Titans have for:
Player equipment, game uniforms, practice space, KHS stadium fees (currently average $10,000+/season), insurance, practice equipment, referee fees, league fees, etc
Flag Level Football and Cheerleading (ages 5-6): $40, plus $60 fundraising fee*
Cheerleading (ages -14): $100, PLUS $60 fundraising fee*
Tackle Football (ages 7-14): $150, plus $60 fundraising fee*,
(Tackle Football requires an additional $40 equipment deposit returned at end of season)
*Fundraising Fee - all players and cheerleaders will contribute to the fundraising fee via a $60 fee. This is the primary fundraising the Titans do each season. In exchange each player/cheerleader will be issued 30 raffle tickets that families may submit as their own or sell for $2/ticket to recoup their fees.
Raffle tickets are distributed mid-September and then turned-in to your Team Parent in early October to be entered in to the Homecoming Raffle drawing.
Football and Cheerleading Coaches Clearance Information
Coaching Requirements
All coaches within the Titans organization are required to have a Bert Bell badge to demonstrate clearance of a criminal background check, and any history of child abuse.
The process to obtain this clearance is outlined on the link below:
http://www.dpw.state.pa.us/child/childabuseneglect/003671038.htm
Please follow the instructions on this link. Once you have obtained approval back from the state of PA, please submit the clearance form to Cathy Kelly or Mark Longacre. Forms will then be submitted to Judy Hahn, BB Commissioner for approval of a coaches badge. Badges are good for 4 years from original issue date.
**A photo I.D. is required for the badge, so please make note of when the Titans have
photo I.D. times scheduled in August to have your photo taken.
As a Bert Bell member club, there are no exceptions to this process. All coaches must have the proper clearance.
All Titans Required to Have a Physical
Physicals are due for all Titans players and cheerleaders by August 3rd.
A physical form to take to your doctor for clearance to play/cheer is attached to this page, or can also be found "Handouts" to be downloaded as needed. Your physician may use their own form
as well.
For those unable to get to their own physicians to have this completed,
please consider a walk-in clinic for a sports physical such as the
Hockessin Walk-In Clinic in Delaware.
Titans players and cheerleaders are able to obtain physicals for $50 on a
"walk-in" basis, or by appointment at (302)234-4000.
