Coach Rucker started coaching in 1985 with the Woodridge Boys & Girls Club in Washington D.C. He was a defensive coordinator for two years before he got his chance to become a Head Coach.
After moving into the Kettering /Largo area in 1990, He became the Head Coach of the K.L.M. 150lb football team. And has coached any weight class that his Commissioner William Mack has asked him to since. Coach Rucker has a reputation for running an structured, no nonsence, disciplined program with an enphasis on teaching and fundamentals. Not only the X's and O's of football, but important life lessons. Due to a strong work ethic and months of preparation (starting in Jan. for a football program that begins in Aug.) he is still very successful to this day. Always teaching and always recruiting kids for the program.
