Nebraska may feature as many as six new starters in the lineup at the same time this season, including five freshmen. Community College, and freshman Ashley Guile, NU's most heralded recruits who have combined for a pair of first-team All-America honors each.. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=110&SPID=34&DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=1377335

Although she was unable to catch during the fall season because of a broken hand, Guile is an experienced catcher. NU’s eight non-freshmen hitters have only walked a combined 15 times. The freshmen have also accounted for four of the Huskers’ seven hit-by-pitches this season. All told, Nebraska’s freshmen boast a collective .374 on-base percentage, compared to a .329 mark from NU’s other hitters.
