Congratulations to the Winners of the Zephyrs 1st annual Quik Trip Gas card fundraiser. The three Zephyrs teams sold raffle tickets for (four) $200 Quik Trip gas cards.

NFCA High School All Americans
Kelsey Warkentine named to the NFCA High School All American Team.
The Washburn Rural and Zephyrs Gold 1st baseman was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All American Team as an Honorable Mention for the 2009 season. Kelsey's selection marks the 5th time a Zephyr player has been selected to the All American team in some capacity. Congrats Kelsey!

The Zephyrs Gold are proud to announce that Catherine Smith - 08 P/1b will sign her National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Rhode Island on a softball scholarship. Rhode Island plays in the Division 1 Atlantic 10 conference.

The first annual ADIDAS National Elite Futures Camp will be held October 8-9, 2005 at the UNLV campus in Las Vegas Nevada. This camp is designed to bring together the top 44 players from across the country in the 2007, 2008, and 2009 classes. The camp will consist of an NCAA recruiting seminar and an intensive workout followed by a series of games which will allow the collegiate coach, and USA softball the opportunity to evaluate the country's best young players. This is an INVITATIONAL ONLY camp, and attendance will be limited to those invited by West Coast Softball All-Stars. The limit of 44 players will be strictly adhered to.
Zephyrs Ashley Guile 07 and Kristen Rock 08 are included in the 44 players chosen to participate in the inaugural camp. The list of players selected to particiate include players from some of the most well known and respected teams in the nation. We are very proud of these young ladies accomplishments. Good luck girls and make KC proud!
