Welcome back Pirates, Pirate Parents, and Pirate Fans! January marked the beginning of practice, as well as, the beginning of this teams most memorable season.
A lot has happened since last summer. Fall play was limited due to the participation of half of the team on local High School Softball teams. We were, however, able to squeeze a few games in during the month of October. The highlight of the fall season was the addition of Sydnee Owens to the team. A belated "WELCOME ABOARD SYDNEE"! Keep an eye on this one. She is loaded with raw talent and I expect we will see her blossom into an exceptional player this spring/summer.
Fast forward to January.....
The team celebrated Christmas at the home of the Abernathy Family. Thank you Tracy and Rob for opening your home to us for this celebration. (Not to mention leaving your decorations up for an additional month on our behalf) It was great to see everyone after a 3 month hiatus. A great time was had by all. It was also an appropriate time to introduce the newest addition to the Pirate family.....WELCOME ABOARD BRITTANY! Brittany Cole has joined our team. The team will benefit greatly from Brittany's experience and talent.
Keep an eye on this page, as I will update it as frequently as time allows. Also, I have updated the calendar. You should be able to see our tentative tournament and practice schedules there.
