Peppers Finish Season at 2012 16A USA/ASA National Championships

The KC Peppers completed their 2011-12 season disappointed but with a respectable showing at the 2012 16A USA/ASA National Championships in Montgomery, AL finishing tied for 49th out of 152 teams in the field with a 4-3 record.  Final results were not available at publish time, but two of the Peppers three losses were to teams that will finish in the top 6 of the tournament.  The Germantown (TN) Red Devils were in the winner's bracket final and assured at least a 3rd place finish, while the Gold Coast (FL) Hurricanes were still alive in the loser's bracket and can finish no lower than tied for 5th place. 

Highlights of the tournament include two exciting international tiebreaker games against the Alabama Twisters and Gold Coast Hurricanes along with outstanding individual performances throughout the lineup.  All 3 losses were by a single run.

Congratulations Coach Tiffany!

Congratulations from the Peppers Family to Coach Tiffany Warnes on being named the new Head Varsity Softball Coach at Blue Valley West High School.  She has spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Blue Valley Southwest, and we are certain she will have success with the Jaguars.
