WELCOME TO COVERAGE OF THE KC REGION'S, DEEPEST - MOST COMPETITIVE - YOUTH BASEBALL LEVEL

...or another David Cone? (Rockhurst HS Grad)
The 2006/14U level in the Kansas City region is known nationally as one of the most competitive in the US. This website will showcase the teams operating at USSSA Majors and Triple Crown D1 levels, and honor the players, coaches and parents who have dedicated themselves to it.

Although the writer is associated with a well known organization, you will find that a neutral tone will prevail. The site will provide information regarding the level, not showcase any particular team. Profiles of former KC Area youth players now in college and the pro's will also be provided.

Please enjoy the site and return often. An effort will be made to gather tournament results every week during 2006.

The season has seen intense rivalries and uncommon parity. So far 8 teams showcased at this site have won events.

RATCHETING UP THE CLASS OF 2010 IN PREPARATION FOR SUMMER SHOWCASE BALL NEXT YEAR

In 2006, in the last year before High School, Majors teams will compete in local, regional and national events sponsored by USSSA, Triple Crown and Super Series. Top Leagues in both the Missouri and Kansas areas will play 60/90 field set-ups due to the requests of many teams. 60' pitching and 90' base paths offer the best preparation for the next level.

Please consider the hard work, moral support and expense that is in play at this level.

Majors players, most of whom have practiced and competed in Majors for many years, deserve the recognition for their determination and zest for the game. At the team sites linked here, you'll find almost all of the future High School and College stars being developed locally.

The site is offered not only to showcase great players and coaches within the level, but to also serve as an informational resource for younger division coaches and organizers who are examining their future plans, and as insight for HS Staffs curious about the level and the developmental status of Kansas City regional baseball.

Please enjoy the site. Your feedback is appreciated.

THANKS TO THE COACHES AND FAMILIES WHO MAKE IT WORK FOR THE KIDS!

Coaching at the level is worthy of tremendous appreciation. The time that a high line - youth baseball coach spends with his players is unsurpassed in developmental sports. The site lists who coaches each ballclub and how to contact them.

Families, of course, are a major part of the set of circumstances at the level. The emotional challenges, time commitment and expense at Majors is an experience to be considered; however, for boys who love the game it is without question where they should be, and thanks to the parents and families who've supported them.

SUPPORT FOR NEW WEBSITE GROWING FAST! LET'S REV UP THE MAJORS DIVISION IN 2006!

Thanks to the many coaches and parents who've contacted me supporting the sites goal of recognizing the kids and bringing good relations among the teams to such a highly competitive classification.

Good positive energy, along with tremendous sportsmanship will make the summers over the next few years an incredible experience for all. And not only are we all lucky to have such great baseball, SOON the boys can drive themselves to the park! Get those insurance premiums ready!

Best Wishes to all, Craig Bates
