JTAA's Jupiter Jaguars Green 8th Grade Boys Travel Basketball Team went undefeated this past weekend at the Coral Springs Super Slam VII Tournament. In pool play, the Jaguars defeated the #1 seed in the tournament, the Coral Springs Force, by 36 points and then beat the West Boca Blazers by 11 points. In bracket play the Jaguars beat the Wellington Wolves 59-31and then beat the Plantation Panthers 69-52. In the Championship Game, the Jaguars again faced The Force outscoring them 81-50 to win the tournament.
The Tournament Most Valuable Player was Willis Scott who averaged 15 points and 9 rebounds per game. Selected to the All-Tournament Team were Brent Crouse with 20 points in the Semi-Final Game and Scott Jones who averaged 6 points per game in the Tournament.
