In her first 15 years at the University of Massachusetts, Judy Dixon has climbed the UMass coaching charts. She currently is the winningest tennis coach in UMass history.

In 1999, she was named New England College Coach of the Year. In 2001, the Women’s Team won the Conference Championship and made the school’s first trip to the NCAA Tournament. That same year, Dixon coached UMass to its first 20 win season. She was named Atlantic 10 Women’s Coach of the Year three times. "The winners in life think constantly in terms of I can, I will, and I am. Losers, on the other hand, concentrate their waking thoughts on what they should have or would have done, or what they can't do." - Dennis Waitley
