Results of Kingco 3A Wrestling Championship, Feb 7, 2009
The Rebels took 4th place as a team, and also won the team sportmanship award. Six of our wrestlers placed well enough to advance to the Region I Tournament next week:
119 lbs, Jake Brown, 1st place
135 lbs, Aaron St. Martin, 3rd place
145 lbs, Michael Przystupa, 3rd place
152 lbs, Matt Skurnik, 3rd place
171 lbs, Logan McCallum, 3rd place
285 lbs, Jory Hamilton, 2nd place
215 lbs, Stefan Kiehn, 4th place (alternate)
Region I Tournament and State Qualifier
When: Saturday, Feb 14th. Weigh-ins:tbd, wrestling starts at tbd, but is ususally 10:00AM, and ends around 7:00PM.
Where: West Seattle High School, 300 California Ave SW, Seattle, Wa 98116.
The top four finishers in each weight class advance to the State Championship held at the Tacoma Dome on Feb 20th and 21st.
