Welcome to JBA
Our mission is to provide Juanita High School with the most capable and best prepared athletes possible from the local community. We exist solely for the benefit of Juanita area students.

We're helping our youth grow an attachment to our schools, gain life-skills that will help them work through situations they encounterin the future, and learn how to succeed as part of a team. Our teams are comprised solely of junior high and elementary school students from within the Juanita boundary area.

JBA is a Select program, for the motivated student athlete. We conduct tryouts each year, generally in April of the previous school year. We form our teams around skills, potential and "coachability". We are members of the Eastside Traveling League. JBA also pays the AAU membership fees for all our players, and participate in AAU tournaments. We follow WIAA rules, and playing time is earned by attendance and performance at practices.

Our practices are held at Kamiakin and Finn Hill junior highs, and our home games are hosted on the hardwood at the Juanita High School fieldhouse.

JBA hosts an annual Thanksgiving Classic tournament each year. This has become a holiday tradition for many teams in the broader Seattle metro area. Last year was our 26th annual tourney and we had over 60 teams participate. This is also our primary fund-raiser, which allows us to keep our player fees low and provide financial support to our elementary, junior high and high school programs.
