Profile: Coach Ann Haertel begins her third year as the Jordan High School Girls Assistant Coach.

Ann attended the University of Utah and received degrees in Speech Communication and English Education. She has taught English, speech, reading, drama and Utah history at the High School and Middle School levels.

Coach Haertel's coaching experience in soccer has been as a head coach (20 years), head club coach (4 years), and ODP girls coach. She also has coaching experience in swimming, basketball, volleyball and softball. She received her National C license from USSF in 1996.

In 1999 Ann was recognized by the Utah Youth Soccer Association as the "Girls Soccer Coach of the Year".

Education is a priorty to Ann and she encourages the team to study hard and get good grades. She shows her concern for every girl on the team and her desire for them to achieve and do their best.
