WELCOME TO THE JEWETT CITY LITTLE LEAGUE T-BALL!!!!

I am excited to get started with the 2014 season. Your Board of Directors are a great group and have worked hard through the off season. The season should be an incredible one. The players will get a lot of positive experiences.

First off I would like to mention that t-ball is non-competitive sport and all kids will play every game. We will cheer for our players and not against others. Each team will have four primary rules that all guidelines will be based off of:

1. Be safe – while baseball is not a violent sport there is plenty of opportunity to get hurt, unsafe practices/games will not be tolerated.

2. Have fun

3. Be a team

4. Learn the fundamentals of baseball

The goal of T-Ball will be to teach the kids the fundamentals of baseball/softball and to have fun. That being said, we cannot do it without you. Volunteers will be needed. A team consists of a Manager, typically two coaches and a team parent. These volunteers come from the players parents, so we cannot do it without you. If you choose to volunteer, and I hope you do, I will need you to fill out some paper work. Please let me know as soon as possible.

Briefly about me, I have been a T-Ball coach for two years for the Blue Jays. I am very passionate about creating a positive experience for our kids and their families. I view my role as T-Ball VP as being an advocate for you. If you have questions or concerns I hope to hear from you.
