Jaguars Varsity Football: Welcome
|
Welcome to the Jaguars Varsity Football webpage. The Jaguars completed their 14th season at the end of 2009. That adds up to 122 Varsity games with a record of 69-53-0. There have been 5 Head Coaches, 25 Assistant Coaches and 145 players since the 1996 Inaugural Season. The Jags made 6 straight playoff appearance from 1999-2004, going to the Championship Game three times and winning twice. After not making the playoffs in 2006 and 2007 the Jags returned to the playoffs the past 3 seasons, going to the Championship game in 2008 and finished runner-up to the League Champion Brunswick Jets and this season posting a 12-0 record, 8-0 in league play and defeating the Brunswick Redskins to lay claim to their 3rd Varsity Campionship. Nine playoff appearances, playing in 5 Championship games and winning 3 gives the Jaguars Varsity a reason to be proud.
They finished 8-0 during the 2009 regular season, won the Championship after posting a 20-0 score. They again played in the Medina Kickoff Classic in August as a tune up for the season, this time they went 4-0 and won the Varsity Division Championship defeating the Warrrensville Heights Cowboys.
The Jaguars have now played 7 games at Medina, including a game against a team from Ontario, Canada, won them all by outscoring their opponents 89-25. All in all the last two seasons the Jags have been 24-1 which has been a great ride and have returned the "Teal & Black Attack" to the top of the heap!
We take alot of pride in the both Buckeye Youth Football and Jaguar Football. The Coaches stress PRIDE, HEART and DISCIPLINE, and the concept of TEAM! TEAM! TEAM!
