The JV Jets will cap off their first decade of play in the Buckeye Youth Football Association during the 2009 Season. The began with BYFA in the 2000 season. They made the playoffs by posting a perfect 9-0 in 2006. They finished as league runner up that season.

Dan Kohler returns as the Head Coach, along with Dave Raco who will move up from the Pee Wee Squad. They will be joined by 2nd year coach Greg Thomas who comes over from the Buccaneers Pee Wee Squad and newcomer Bill Graham.

The JV Division is a competitive division containing playoffs and a championship. The 2008 Season will bring more changes to this division. With the league starting a Pee Wee Division in 2008 the JV Division now contains players who are 9 and 10 year olds.

Jets Defeated By The Brunswick Jets

The Jets JV were defeated 13-0 by the Brunswick Jets JV on Saturday morning. Thereby eliminating them from the playoffs and concluding the 2009 Season. The Jets had a good season, after losing both games in the Medina Kick Off Classic they came out firing and were 4-0 before we knew it. The Brunswick Jets proved to be their nemisis as they battled them to a 0-0 tie in the regular season and then lost the playoff game to them. They finish at 6-2-1 in the regular season and 6-4-1 overall. Congratulations to the Coaches and Players on their 2009 Season! See you at the Banquet on November 22nd.
