Chris Calta is in his 2nd year as a director of Buckeye Youth Football. He took over as Head Coach of the Buccaneers for the 2007 season with the departure of Scot Asvestas. With the downsizing of teams in BYFA with the dissolving of the Buccaneers, Coach Calta will make a move to the Jaguars Varsity Coaching Staff and remain a Director.
Coach Calta began as a JV Assistant Coach for the Buccaneers in 2004, taking over as Head JV Coach in the 2005 season. He became the Buccaneers Head Coach in the 2007 season when Scot Asvestas stepped down.
His son Brad will also be playing on the Jags Varsity after working his way up through the Bucs' squads.
