Strykers' record:
YTD Regular Season: 6-9-3: 5 shutout
YTD w/Tournaments: 15-12-4; 14 shutouts

w/ Tournaments: 8-2-3; 7 shutout

2008 Fall: MOSA U10 National 1: 1-8-1, 1 shutout
w/ Tournaments: 7-10-1; 7 shutouts

Big changes for the fall of 08: Five Strykers left the team, 6 new players were brought on and they start with a new coach. With so many changes, it only seems right to start the count over.

In the Lady Strykers' last game of the 2005 OCR Fall season, they beat the undefeated Homdel Hurricanes.
The Strykers came into this season a new team. There were 13 U7 members and 1 U8 member playing U8 in the Ocean County Recreation League. As parents, we were prepared that they might lose most of their games. We hoped they would win some but were not expecting it. They were playing girls who were a full year older and all but one of the Strikers had only played town Rec. They lost their first 3-4 games. As they learned to play as a team and their ball skills improved, they started tying and then they started winning. It was a very respectable season for a new team playing up.

The last game of the season was against the undefeated Holmdel Hurricanes. A very good team that also played a very physical game, even at U8. The Hurricanes had beaten the Strykers twice before. Once at the beginning of the season and once at Freehold Frightfest.

The Strykers played an awesome second half and came away with the win. I believe the score was 3-2.
