Identification Cards to Increase Child Safety

In an effort to increase child safety and "maintain a hostile enviorment" for any persons that seek to harm our children, Jackie Robinson West will mandate all adult volunteers display a league issused photo identification card when working with JRW players during games, practices or any league activity.

Any individual wishing to volunteer with JRW is required to submit a "Little League Volunteer Application" prior to the applicant assuming his/her duties for the current season.

Persons who should display the league issued identification card include:

 Managers

 Coaches

 Board of Directors

Team parent

Any other person who provides regular service to the league or has repetitive access or contact with players or teams.

Refusal to submit a fully completed Little League Volunteer Application will result in immediate dismissal from the league.

If a parent observes an adult working with children and not displaying the league issued ID card you should notify a manager, coach or board member.

Identification card photos will be taken at our next league meeting on Thursday March 1st 7PM at Beggar's Pizza, 127th-Kedzie.
