A’s Yankees start fast and end close.

The A’s came ready to play but as we have seen all year, the Yankees are a morning team.  Not only did some new heroes step up to the plate but some existing stars shined.   Ronald “The Natural” did his share with two great plays on Defense and Offense.  Ronald scooped every ball on defense and looked like a machine at the plat with hit after hit.  Vinsanity came with an early morning shine with a great crack of a few balls at the plate and recorded a big out with teammate Brandon “The Bambino” Borden.  Brandon also made some great plays at 1st base and crushed every pitch from the plate….  When asked after the game…Brandon said “I am going to Disneyland!!”  Francisco “Pacito” took his game to a new level with a tag out at 3rd base, a fantastic play at 1st base to get an out at 2nd  base and a home run that got the party started in the 1st inning.  Luie "Lightning in a bottle" was a stud from his new hitting position.  Luie went up the middle three times and drove in at least 5 runs.  On defense, Luie showed real composure with his movement to the ball and great attention!!    Thomas “The Hurt Train” returned from illness and it must have been contagious because he had the A’s Coaches sick from all his hits.  Thomas also didn’t miss a beat on “D” where he held down pitcher and shortstop and looked to control one half of the field with the other 4 outfielders in the 6th inning.  Adonis “Old School” manned up with some old fashioned base running where he floated around the bases and put the brakes like a cartoon before retreating back to 1st base.  Adonis also had a strong day at 2nd base where he stopped a ball and made a nice throw to nearly get an out.  Isaac “South Paw” smacked the ball every time he got to the plate with some terrific swings.  Isaac didn’t have much to show for those great hits because of some great plays from the A’s..but Isaac also looked great on D with and almost go in on a play at 2nd base!!  Gavin “Easy Money” made us all proud with a bunch of hits even his Uncle…..and on D Gavin threw a ball in from the outfield with authority and almost made a play at short stop.  Caden “Wheels” went 3 for 3 at the plate and made a great play in the outfield to hold up an anxious A’s base runner.  Adam “Bomb” took his hacks and made the most of them at the plate….completing the huge 3rd inning with a score and some quickness on the bases.  Adam also showed his earlymorningness with all out hustle in the outfield.  Rey “The Running Man” looked great at the plate with some nice hitting and amazing swings.  Rey was also the ring leader in the final inning in the outfield mutiny of Coach Adam.  And how bout Elizjah!!  Man Dog made a habit of cracking every ball at the plate and found a way to run ¼ of mile between 2nd and 3rd base before scoring a huge run!!  Way to earn game ball!!!MVP Francisco, BrandonHero Vince, GavinGame ball  MADDOGG!!!
