| Congratulations to all our wrestlers on a great job at Battle of the Border! It was an exciting, busy weekend with so many wrestlers continuing through the brackets. For those of you who went for the first time, I'm sure it was an experience you won't soon forget. Hope you all enjoyed it. See you all Thursday at Bellevue! |

From Casey Duke - Volunteer opportunity, spirit pin opportunity, Issaquah press opportunity. Mountain to Sound Greenways, basically tree planting along the issaquah creek. | All interested wrestlers and parents are invited to Parents Sports Night on Thursday, November 9th at 6:30 PM in the IHS Commons. Information will be shared about the season, practice schedule, tournaments, expectations, etc. A perfect time to ask any questions you may have regarding wrestling at IHS. Just a few reminders regarding the wreath sales.
1) Turn in money daily to the bookkeeper at your school. GET A RECEIPT and keep you order form.
2) Oder will be placed on Monday, November 6th. You can take orders the weekend of Nov 3 & 4 if you have a way to get information to Coach Hyatt on Sunday the 4th.
3) Wreaths will be ready for pick up at Coach Hyatts approximately the first weekend in December - we'll keep you posted on this date as it nears. Tell customers arrival will be the first part of December. You will be responsible for delivery to those who purchased from you.
4) Checks should be preferably made out to Issaquah Wrestling but Issaquah High School is acceptable.
5)Donations can be accepted as long as it is noted on the check that it's a donation.
6) If you need order forms, brochures or have questions please see one of the captains or call Theresa Reece at 425-369-9338 or Coach Hyatt.

| A fund raising meeting for wrestlers is scheduled for Tuesday, October 17th at 6:30 PM in the Issaquah High School Library Resourse Room. Fund raising is vital to the team this year; without the Salmon Days parking revenue wreath sales become very important. Every wrestler needs to participate to ensure a success. Please attend the meeting and tell other wrestlers about it also. Wrestlers and parents welcome; see you on Tuesday evening. |
