Wolfpack Competes in Pre Season Tourney
The Wolfpack played in the pre season leveling tournament over the weekend. Well, at least some of the Wolfpack did. The team played two games Saturday, with only five skaters in both games. The guys played well, but it was just to much to ask to come out on top with five skaters and playing two of the top teams in the league. Sunday saw two more skaters on the bench and the Pack jumed out to an early 3-0 advatage, and the Pack was on top 4-3 after two periods. Tired legs caught up to the guys in the end and the Pack fell again. The coaches were happy with all three games, showing the ability to play with all three teams. When the team gets back to full strength, the coaches believe that the team will be very good. The team will be playing in the RHL as well this year with a schedule including local teams and teams from Rio Grande Valley and Shreveport. Should be a great year.
