The Lake Erie Invaders (fka Ohio Invaders) are proud to announce the launch of their new Remington Phillips-designed website. This website reflects the new direction the team has taken. The Invaders have some very important events approaching for the first week of April as we have a major fundraiser on Saturday and a major scrimmage with our formal rivals the North Coast Vikings!!

Invaders extend thank you!
The Invaders want to thank those of you who were able to attend the February 28th fundraiser at Sam & Tommy's! We had a very good turnout and the door prizes and 50/50 went very well. I have heard the spaghetti left a lot to be desired. Their wings are THAT good ALL the time!! They do have incredible wings and burgers so if you're looking for night out - hit them up. I believe Monday nights are .25 wing nights!! Thanks to Sam & Tommy's for hosting!
We can't thank Tommy and Dan from the band Five4Nine enough! Those are a couple of very energenic guys and were more than happy to help us with flyers, etc! We are making arrangements to hook up with another fundraiser with Sam & Tommy's and Five4Nine (no spaghetti this time!!).
We are planning more events and will let everyone know when we have that finalized. We are going with less-expensive events a little more often so everyone can participate. We cannot stress enough how important these events are to the health of the team - and NOT just financially. This is the time when you will really get to know your teammates and their families!

DVD'S NOW AVAILABLE. . .
ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS
Game films are now available to be ordered on DVD. You can purchase individual games for $5 each, or the 10 game set for $35. Please contact Coach Randy Brewster if you are interested at coach@painesvillebuckeyes.com . Randy is also able to make a custom highlight DVD for anyone interested. The price for these will depend on how much editing you want done.

PYFL FUNDRAISER. . . .
Coach Randy Brewster (#73 for the Invaders) is also the head coach for the Buckeyes; a youth team in the Painesville Youth Football League. His wife, Kym Brewster who videotaped every game for the Invaders among numerous other things, is a great asset to the team/league. Helping coach for the Buckeyes is Coach Danny Brewster( Randy's brother), who along with his wife Carrie were the success behind the Invaders announcing and music on game day in 2007. Also participating in helping to coach the Raiders of the PYFL is Coach Mike Brown (#60 for the Invaders).
The teams of the Painesville Youth Football League are those that came out to support us in the game the Invaders hosted at Perry High School against the North Coast Vikings in 2007 on our very successful youth night. The Invaders were able to make a small donation to the Painesville Buckeyes as well as the donation of Invaders t-shirts for everyone on the team. The Invaders wish all the teams in the PYFL continued growth and success.
