IBL is an independent, nonprofit/charitable organization depending primarily on support from private contributions. Although IBL is an official member of the jr/NBA-jr/WNBA, AAU and other organizations that sponsor the IBL, it receives no direct funding from them.

When you make a contribution to IBL, you are making a difference in the lives of New York City children. Every dollar you give goes directly to support IBL programs and not for individual rewards. Unlike other organizations, the children benefit "NOT the STAFF"
