| Wondering if the Indianapolis Youth Hockey Association would be interesting in partnering with GrowHockey.com on an easy, low maintenance and free fundraising idea? The idea is as follows: anytime a parent buys something online (tickets, travel, electronics, photo processing, hockey equipment, apparel, etc) they would start at the website I've established here: www.GrowHockey.com. After clicking on their association, they click through to the retailer of their choice. These retailers pay the Association a % of any resulting sales. (%'s vary by retailer) A quick example. A parent wants to buy something at Target.com. They would go to GrowHockey.com click the link to Target.com and then proceed to make their purchase. Depending on what is purchased, Target pays the Association between 3% - 10% of the total sale. The parent pays the exact same prices as they would having gone directly to Target.com – it costs them nothing to participate. So, with this idea, we are not asking parents to increase spending, just change the path they take to make any online purchases. Over the course of a year this can generate significant money for your Association. The idea is pretty simple and would only require some communication from the Association to hockey parents.
