Indiana District 8 partners with Butler University for Important Training Camps

Mark Commons, District Administrator announces that Indiana District 8 has partnered with Butler University in an important training opportunity for players at all of our leagues.  Butler University will be running camps for a number of age groups providing a day camp of training, skills development and fun.

Central Region Announces Dates for Clinics and Training

 Little League Baseball's Central Region Headquarters has released its 2008-2009 schedule of clinic dates and sites. The Central Region Staff will continue to host the following clinics at the Ruben F. Glick Little League Central Region Headquarters, unless otherwise noted: (Please be advised that all of these dates are tentative at this time and subject to change)Central Region Leadership Trainings are provided as a service to members of chartered Little League organizations.  Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to attend these trainings.

The Ramada Inn at 42nd and Pendleton Pike is available for offsite overnight accomodations.  Contact Sharon in Reservations at 317-614-2445 and ask for the special Little League rate.

Keraga Cup and Presidents Cup Matchs are now ready to begin

The Keraga Cup and Presidents Cup conducted to determine the regular season championship team has been determined.  Named for long-time president of the Zionsville Little League and great supporter of the district initiative that is the Keraga Cup, the tournament is set to begin May 30, 2009.

 Some games will be contested on Sunday, the 31st due to a scheduling issue with Plainfield High School.  However, each team will have a chance to advance to the finals to be played on June 6.

Attched is a link to the Keraga Cup brackets and rules.  Please email Mark Commons @ markdcommons@yahoo.com with the updated results so that the schedule can be get up to date.
