Hello everyone! My name is Jamie Davison. I am a professional softball player in the National Professional Fastpitch league. (NPF) I also just finished playing in the European Cup in Prague. I played for the Greek team and we won the Gold Medal for B pool. I was given the best hitter award and the MVP award. I played catcher. In addition to my private lessons I am also the head varsity softball coach at Oregon High School in nearby Oregon, Illinois. GO HAWKS! I began giving lessons 3 years ago in Louisville, Kentucky my hometown. When I moved to Rockford, Illinois to play professional softball I continued. My goal is to help athletes reach their maximum potential and to help improve the already high quality of softball in the greater Rockford/Chicago area. One of my favorite things in life is watching young people grow and mature as people and softball players.
My lessons cover hitting, fielding (Infied/Outfield), baserunning and catching. Each lesson is different depending on what my athletes want to work on. I am currently giving lessons in the Rockford Thunder facility in downtown Rockford. I believe in teaching the correct mechanics that are necessary to be successful at the most competitive level. I know the techniques for hitting, fielding, catching, etc. that I teach are incredibly successful as it is the same fundamentals that I use everyday in my professional career! I also am available to come do clinics and come to practice also. I also am a great resource for doing college exposure videos.
